| Description: Junior STARSkate is for skaters who are in STAR 1-2. Junior STARSkaters will enjoy 2.5 hours of ice time weekly, with a blended session on Wednesdays, where junior and senior skaters share the ice for 30 minutes. Junior STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate, interpretive and synchronized skating. This program teaches figure skating skills in a private lesson and/or group format, in a progressive and sequential manner. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada tests through a nationally standardized testing system. Skaters may also choose to enter competitions. To qualify for STARSkate, skaters must have completed Stage 6 of CanSkate. Program price includes a $35 non-refundable fundraising fee. Skate Canada membership will be added at checkout. 3%+ 0.20 cent administration fee for credit cards. |
