| Description: Senior STARSkate is for skaters who are in Star 3-Gold. Senior STARSkaters will enjoy 3.5 hours of ice time weekly. Senior STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate, artistic and synchronized skating. This program teaches figure skating skills in a private lesson and/or group format, in a progressive and sequential manner. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada tests through a nationally standardized testing system. Skaters may also choose to enter competitions. This year, registration fees include 50 minutes of coaching on Wednesday evenings. To qualify for Senior STARSkate, skaters must have completed a STAR 3 test or be 15 years of age at any STAR level. Program price includes a $35 non-refundable fundraising fee. Skate Canada membership will be added at checkout. 3%+ 0.30 cent administration fee for credit cards.
